Add Programs To Block
Using Add Programs To Block
Programs are blocked by their executable file (.exe) .
For instance, the executable file for Notepad is notepad.exe.
Instructions:
1. Determine program you want blocked
2. Get the executable name (see Getting Exe Name)
3. Go to IMLock Control Panel, Blocking, Block programs
4. Type in the full executable name, including the .exe
5. Press Add To List
6. Blocking is now set to take place
7. To Remove, highlight item, and press Remove From List
The following diagram will illustrate what settings will work to block programs. The settings must have the .exe filename.
How do I find the .exe name?
One easy way to do this is with windows task manager.
To access task manager, go to the toolbar at the bottom of your screen and right click.
Select Task Manager.
When task manager opens up, you can see all the processes that are running.
Find your process and right click:
Select go to process, and you will be directed to the .exe file:
